Light Bookkeeping

Now, accounting is an area I admit I am not an expert in. However, I have done some accounts receivable work, (way back when it was written in books), and my personal checkbook is balanced to a tee. I like checks and balances, being able to make my numbers match. That's a little bit of my attention to detail coming through, I guess. So if you need entries recorded, invoices created and posted, or collection calls made, I can help. If you need someone with true accounting experience, I'm not your girl.

Virtual Assistant will Travel

In the time that I have been working as a virtual assistant, I have found that not only is there a need for my services in the world-wide internet market, but also in my local neighborhood. Maybe a client needs on-site administrative service, but for only a few hours a week. Meeting clients in person can also help me to better realize their needs and provide them a greater service. (And this way, I get out of the house once in a while!)

Business Card Database

One project I've recently been hired for is taking a business card collection into a spreadsheet format.

If you accept business cards in a 'fish bowl' on your counter for a prize or such to obtain leads, let me take those leads and store them for future marketing use.

If you are a realtor wanting to get your leads into an email campaign format, give me a call.

Virtual Assistants

Recently, I've become a 'stay-at-home' mom. After the birth of my second child, the cost of daycare and rising fuel costs can't justify me working a full time position out of the home.

However, I have over 15 years of administrative experience that can be put to good use by helping small businesses grow. After working in both corporate type establishments and small individually owned businesses, I prefer to work with the smaller companies. This way, I feel I can make a bigger impact on the overall success of the organization.

There are so many work at home scams today, it's hard to find legitimate work that can really be done from home. In my research for work from home, I stumbled on the virtual assistant industry. What is a virtual assistant exactly?

"Virtual assistants are independent entrepreneurs who work remotely, and use technology to deliver services to clients globally. Most work from their home offices and receive their project instructions by phone, fax, e-mail or even instant message. Although many virtual assistants offer secretarial services, as more people with diverse backgrounds and skills enter the ranks, virtual assistants who specialize in such areas as marketing, graphic and Web design, IT support or even translations are becoming more common."*

My goal is to save your small business the overhead costs of employer taxes, healthcare and insurance, equipment and much more, by providing administrative assistant type services from my home. This can free up your time to focus on the more important aspects of growing your company. In a nutshell, I want to save your business time and money!

From complex project management to routine daily tasks, a virtual assistant can help. Call me to discuss your needs.

Thanks for taking the time to learn about virtual assistants.
